What are COOKIES?
Cookies are information that is automatically placed on the hard disks of Users’ computers when they access certain websites. Cookies only identify your browser on the server. Cookies enable the storage of information on the server, in order to improve Users’ web experiences. It allows to browse the pages quickly and efficiently, not required to fill in the same information.
The collected information concerns the browsing preferences of Users, namely the way in which Users access and use the website and the area of the country through which they access, among others, not including, as such, information that identifies them, but mere generic information .
Most browser programs are set to accept cookies, although it is possible to set browsers to refuse all cookies, or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, please note that some sections of our Website may not work properly if the User has declined cookies.
COOKIES MANAGEMENT
All browsers allow the user to accept, refuse or delete cookies, namely by selecting the appropriate settings in the browser. Please note, however, that disabling cookies may partially or totally affect your browsing experience on the Website.
You can set cookies in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser. Below, we indicate the ways to disable cookies, depending on your browser:
Cookies settings in Internet Explorer
To disable cookies:
- Click on the “Tools” menu and choose “Internet Options”;
- Select the “Privacy” tab;
- Move the bar until the expression “Block all cookies” appears.
Cookies settings in Mozilla Firefox
To disable cookies:
- Click on the “Tools” menu;
- Select “Options”;
- Click on “Privacy”;
- In the “Cookies” section, deactivate the option “Accept cookies from websites”;
- Click “OK” to save changes and close.
Cookies Settings in Google Chrome
To disable cookies:
- Click on “Settings” on the Tool bar;
- Click on “Show advanced Settings”;
- In the “Privacy” section, click on “Content Settings”;
- Select the option “Block data settings by websites”
- You can change the following settings in the “Cookies” section:
- Eliminate cookies;
- Block cookies by default;
- Allow cookies by default;
- Keep cookies and the website data until you leave the browser;
- Create exceptions to specific websites or domains;
Cookies settings in Safari web e iOS
To disable cookies:
- Click on “Edit”;
- Select “Preferences”;
- In the top panel select the “Privacy” icon;
- In the “Accept cookies” section, select “Never”.
Other internet browsers (browser)
